Inglewood Investments, Inc. was organized January 9, 1962. Inglewood is now known as Inglewood Investments, a division of Hellenic, LLC.
The Morgan City Company, Inc, in liquidation, sold 3200 acres to Inglewood Investments, Inc. on August 11, 1962. Inglewood also owns 3600 acres in Assumption Parish, several waterfront properties in Berwick, and 2 remaining parcels in Bayou Vista for a total of 5600 acres.
Property on the east end of Morgan City was once part of Inglewood Plantation, which inspired the company name.
